How Encrypted Sync Works
Encrypt Locally
When you add or update a password, it's encrypted on your device using keys derived from your master password.
Upload Ciphertext
Only the encrypted data is sent to our servers. We store ciphertext that we cannot decrypt.
Sync to Devices
Your other devices download the encrypted data and decrypt it locally using your master password.
