1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AmnPass ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AmnPass is a zero-knowledge password manager that allows you to securely store, manage, and share passwords and two-factor authentication codes. Your data is encrypted on your device using keys derived from your master password.

3. Account Registration

To use AmnPass, you must:

  • Provide a valid email address
  • Create a strong master password
  • Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)
  • Provide accurate account information

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your master password and account credentials.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Safeguard your master password — We cannot reset or recover your master password. If you lose it, you will permanently lose access to your vault.
  • Use the Service lawfully — Do not use AmnPass to store credentials for illegal activities or to facilitate unauthorized access to systems.
  • Keep your devices secure — Your security depends on the security of the devices you use to access AmnPass.
  • Accept responsibility for shared items — When you share credentials, you are responsible for sharing only with authorized individuals.

5. Data Recovery Disclaimer

AmnPass uses zero-knowledge encryption. This means:

  • We cannot access your vault content
  • We cannot reset your master password
  • If you forget your master password, your data cannot be recovered

This is a fundamental security feature, not a limitation. We strongly recommend storing your master password in a secure physical location.

6. Subscription and Billing

AmnPass offers free and paid subscription tiers. For paid subscriptions:

  • Payment is due at the beginning of each billing cycle
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
  • Refunds are available within 30 days of initial purchase
  • You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period

7. Acceptable Use

You may not:

  • Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use the Service to distribute malware or spam
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

8. Intellectual Property

The AmnPass service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by AmnPass and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your vault content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and transmit your encrypted data for the purpose of providing the Service.

9. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your encrypted vault data will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

While we implement strong security measures, no system is perfectly secure. You use the Service at your own risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AMNPASS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AmnPass from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where AmnPass operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
