Before You Start
To invite someone, you need to be the Owner of a workspace. If you haven't created one yet, see how workspaces work.
Step-by-Step: Sending an Invitation
Open Workspace Settings
Click the workspace switcher and select "Manage Workspace" or go to Settings → Workspace → Members.
Enter Their Email Address
Type the exact email address of the person you want to invite. This is the email they'll use to sign in.
Send the Invitation
Click "Invite" — they'll receive an email with a secure link. Existing AmnPass users also see an in-app notification.
They Accept and Join
When they click "Accept Invitation" (in email or app), they join your workspace as a Member.
What the Invitee Sees
The person you invite receives:
- Email: A message explaining who invited them and which workspace, with an "Accept Invitation" button
- In-app notification: If they're already an AmnPass user, a notification appears in their dashboard
If they don't have an account yet, clicking the link takes them to sign up. The invitation is automatically applied after they create their account.
Email Must Match
Managing Pending Invitations
You can view and manage pending invitations in your workspace settings:
- Resend: Send the invitation email again if they didn't receive it
- Cancel: Revoke the invitation before it's accepted
- Check status: See if invitations are pending or expired
Invitation Expiration
Invitations expire after 7 days for security. If someone doesn't accept in time:
- The old invitation becomes invalid
- You can send a new invitation to the same email
Common Issues
Email not received
- Check their spam/junk folder
- Verify you entered the correct email address
- Resend the invitation from your workspace settings
- If they're an existing user, remind them to check their in-app notifications
Wrong email address
- Cancel the pending invitation
- Send a new invitation to the correct email
